Serpentine Falls Tavern

Originally named the Serpentine Falls Hotel the striking federation Queen Anne style building was constructed in 1903.

The original building was extended at some time in the 1970’s with an addition to the street frontage on Richardson street.

In 2003 the property underwent another renovation to convert the existing hotel bedrooms into a new restaurant area. It would have been at this point its licensing status changed from hotel to tavern.

The current renovation will restore some of the buildings original heritage features and bring the building up to a 21 century standard.

Previously known as Serpentine Falls Hotel, Ye Olde Serpentine Tavern, Serpentine Tavern and commonly known as the Serpentine Pub – we have decided to return to the original name – the tavern is now known as the Serpentine Falls Tavern.
